Here’s a look back at some of our most memorable weddings from the past year, and the beautiful diversity of floral design that comes with saying yes to your style.

Elegant & Classic: Vie by Cescaphe | Philadelphia, PA

There’s something timeless about a ballroom wedding and Vie by Cescaphe sets the perfect stage for a romantic, city-chic celebration. For this wedding, we leaned into a classic black-tie aesthetic with a mix of towering and low style arrangements of white hydrangeas, white roses, fragrant white stock and white gypsophila. Beautiful candles throughout brought a warm glow to the evening.

Every detail was created to complement the grandeur of the ballroom while maintaining a soft, romantic feel. This event captured what we love most about traditional elegance—refinement, richness, and florals that never go out of style.

Vibrant & Cultural: Indian Wedding | The Logan Hotel, Philadelphia

Cultural weddings allow us to infuse bold color palettes, textures, and symbolism into our designs. For this traditional Indian wedding at The Logan Hotel, we brought the couple’s vision to life with rich hues of fuchsia, peach, orange, and coral.

The mandap was adorned with fresh blooms and greenery, draped with flowing fabric to create a sacred, romantic space for the ceremony. Vibrant floral garlands, statement aisle décor, and opulent centerpieces transformed the venue into a floral festival of love. This celebration honored heritage and tradition while delivering unmatched vibrancy and joy.

Blended Traditions: Fusion Wedding | Spring Mill Manor, Ivyland, PA

Spring Mill Manor offered the perfect setting for a fusion wedding, where East met West in a beautifully balanced celebration. Our floral design married the vibrance of traditional Indian weddings with the softness of American romance.

Think bright fuchsia roses paired with coral peonies, wispy larkspur blended with green foliage and mandap-inspired arches with a modern twist. We loved working closely with the couple to blend cultures through floral storytelling, ensuring that every guest felt at home and every tradition honored.

Natural & Refined: Brantwyn Estate | Country Club Wedding

Tucked away on the lush grounds of Brantwyn Estate, this country club wedding was a dream in natural elegance. With rolling lawns and Georgian architecture as a backdrop, we went for a refined garden look using lavender, light pinks, purple, coral flowers, and plenty of greens.

The ceremony flowers included garden-style aisle markers and a floral asymmetric arch overflowing with seasonal blooms. For the reception, we featured a mix of high style gorgeous florals that sat on top of a glass trumpet vase, as well as low centerpieces in gold compotes, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere. Every floral detail added charm and grace to this classic outdoor estate wedding.

Whimsical & Wild: Camp Wedding | Camp Tyler Hill, PA

Who says you can’t have an elegant floral design at a camp wedding? At Camp Tyler Hill, nestled in the Pocono Mountains, we embraced the rustic romance of nature with floral arrangements that felt playful and whimsical.

Loose bouquets of vibrant florals and greenery set the tone. The ceremony was adorned with colorful flowers and greenery, complimenting the bridal party florals. Baskets of mums and lanterns lined the steps of the ceremony. Lanterns and votive candles lined the reception tables, creating a relaxed yet magical ambiance under the stars. This wedding reminded us how beautiful a free-spirited celebration can be—and how florals can enhance even the most non traditional spaces.

Becca and Freddie’s Blue & Ivory Wedding

Becca and Freddie were married on Friday, May 20th 2022 at one of our favorite venues, Pen Ryn Estate in Bensalem, PA. With a beautiful color scheme of blue and white, their big day was the perfect spring inspired wedding.

Some beautiful moments and details of their wedding day consisted of:

The first look with Becca and her dad has us in tears. Once her father saw her dressed in white, he could not contain his emotions. It was such a beautiful and tender moment between father and daughter.

Freddie and his groomsmen didn’t take too many “traditional” groomsmen photos before the ceremony. Each groomsmen had their own funny touch on how to pose.

It’s no secret that Pen Ryn Estate is a stunning venue with plenty of beautiful areas to take pictures. The wedding photographer Nicole Cordisco, was able to capture some beautiful shots of them throughout the grounds.

The flowers (done by yours truly), all perfectly matched, with an assortment of blue and white flowers and a touch of greenery. From Becca’s bridal bouquet, the ceremony arch, to the centerpieces, the flowers complemented their color scheme beautifully.

Their wedding stationary matched all the day of flowers to the T! With their wedding invitations, seating chart, welcome sign, photo booth, and menu customized stationary, it made for another perfect touch to their wedding day.

If you were looking to crash a wedding where you would be guaranteed a good time, this would have been the one to do so. The couple and their guests were all a big fan of the dance floor and made sure that everyone was in on the fun.

(COVID-19) A Message From Our Creative Director

To our valued Customers,

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads, the world around us is changing; our commitment to you has not changed.

First and most importantly, your safety, as well as our customers and employees is our top priority. We ask that you please make sure you are following CDC guidelines as well as the guidelines outlined by your state and local governments.

Also, I fully appreciate the uncertainty, anxiety, and questions some of you may have regarding how your events might be impacted. Please know we are working around the clock to keep our commitment to you and providing rebooking flexibility.

Flexibility If You Need to Adjust Your Event Plans

With the unprecedented cancellations of events and the issuing of travel restrictions, we understand your event plans may change. Therefore, we have made additional changes to our already very flexible policies.

If you decide to reschedule your event, we ask that you notify us three weeks prior to your event is scheduled. If you cancel at least three weeks prior, 100% of your funds will be transferred to your new date (must be before 12/31/2021). We will also honor the prices we agreed on upon your initial booking with us.

We are aggressively managing our business so that we can continue to deliver the service you expect from Elegant Events.

Canceling Your Wedding Due to Covid-19

There are plenty of things brides and grooms think about going wrong when it comes to their big day, bad weather, getting sick, funerals, etc. However, i’m sure couples have never thought about the possibility of a worldwide pandemic happening.

Covid-19 aka coronavirus has unfortunately forced many brides and grooms to cancel their big day. As of March 15th, 2020 the CDC recommended postponing weddings to help prevent the spread of this virus. They have recommended to postpone for AT LEAST 8 weeks, if not more (to read more, head to the CDC website).

Keep in mind a few items when trying to determine whether or not to cancel your wedding:

How many guests will be traveling to your wedding? Plenty of flights are being grounded and cancelled due to the virus.
Do you have a handful of elderly people attending your wedding: 60+ year olds are at high risk for getting the virus, therefore should not be around others who potentially could carry the disease.
How many guests are attending? The White House has discouraged any social gatherings of 10 or more between the time frame of March 17th – April 1st and could possibly carry on longer.

Alternative options:

You can have a micro wedding ceremony where you and your significant other gets married, and then reschedule the reception for later
You can elope! Forget the big wedding and just elope on your original wedding date.
You can postpone. Still plan on having the wedding of your dreams but schedule for a date that is in the clear.

Here are a couple of of tips and suggestions for postponing your wedding:

Be prepared & informed. Keep up on the news to get an idea of when this all might settle down or resolve. Make sure to keep track of not only the news but the CDC guidelines as well.
If you haven’t already, hire a wedding planner! They will help you organize, navigate and keep your sanity when trying to plan your big day around a pandemic.
Speak to your vendors: Keep an ongoing and open conversation with your vendors. Ask them for advise or possible solutions to postponing and planning your wedding. You will also want to talk to your vendors right away about their policy for canceling or postponing events.
Update your guests: Your guests should not be surprised when letting them know your big day needs to be postponed. However, make sure you contact every invited guest to let them know what is going on and keep them informed on when it might be rescheduled for. You can even send out “unsave the date” cards to let them know the event is postponed. You can also simply text, call or email your guests. I would even let those traveling know about the current flexible flight and travel policies to ensure they will not lose any money on their already purchased tickets.
Hold off on any major decisions: Do not make any major decisions until you are sure. This way you won’t lose any more money, time or effort. You also want to make sure you don’t end up confusing your guests with several dates, times, places, etc.
